FOR THE LOVE OF JOHNNY
When Jennifer Dede fails to have a child after several years of marriage, her loving husband, Stephen, who initially stands by her side through the storm, succumbs to family pressure to employ ungodly means to have a child. Johnny is born, normal like any other
child to the delight of both parents. But when Johnny develops a deformity which the doctors diagnose as Down Syndrome, both Jennifer and her husband are distraught. While Jennifer, through her abiding faith in God stands firm, Stephen once again crumbles under
pressure from his family: Johnny is a child from the gods, and to the gods he must return. Jennifer once again demonstrates her resilience through her strong faith: Johnny must remain in the family. At the end, however, Johnny is taken into the dense forest for his
'evaporation'. What happens when Jennifer regains her strength and her faith, and boldly ventures back into the thick forest to rescue her child?
